Fits and Starts

Oh dear. It's getting so that I can't even think of post titles, let alone new and mildly interesting content.

Things continue on the same here, which is preferable and good. I admit to being fatigued sometimes because of keeping the craziest hours since the days of being the mother of a newborn (who will turn forty in six months!).

I should be making better use of my spare time at home, but I'm more often indulging in reading and watching Netflix and only occasionally doing something more constructive. Well, hopefully it's adding up even though done in fits and starts.

And I suppose if one keeps at those fits and starts, eventually one accomplishes what she has a mind to. Ah good. I don't feel so guilty now. Fits and starts to the rescue. :O)

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory,
are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18

I hope you are having a scrumptious summertime. It's flying by, isn't it?!
Grateful for you,
Bess

  1. Fits and starts are certainly helpful. I am wanting to declutter things here. I dont seem to make a lot of progress; I'm too sentimental. A little at a time seems to be the rule around here. I'm glad you are taking some time to refresh yourself in the midst of your crazy schedule. God bless you. Dianne L

    1. I declutter slowly, too, Dianne. I'm mostly down to items I love or value, but there are documents/papers I need to go through and shred. At least I'm pretty vigilant about the junk mail that comes in, which I try to pitch/destroy on a daily basis. Have been trying to do a little artwork, which I'll probably share at some point. Blessings, Bess

  2. Bess, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I appreciate it very much, especially as you are so busy on a daily basis-being a carer is all consuming, I know.
Your poor brother ...as if he doesn't already have trouble, to be suffering migraine as well. Please tell him if he ever wants to share a chat or moan! I would be more than happy to do so. It is a very misunderstood condition and support is helpful. My family are great, but I find that some friends think its just a fuss about a headache.
I'll be there to visit you just as soon as I get back from my Dad's.
Do keep blogging about daily life, Bess! Anything goes, you know, and we are sisters in Christ who can encourage each other.
    Love, Alex x

    1. Thanks for your thoughtful reply, Alex. I do want to clarify that it's my son that gets migraines, not my brother. Enjoy your blogging break! B

    3. And I for you, Alex. I know from what he's told me that migraines are not only painful, but they can be very scary, especially if one still has to get home from wherever they are. It's my understanding that in time some people just stop getting them. Hope that will soon be the case for you!

Dear Readers, comments are moderated. Unkind comments will be read but not published.

If I have a reply, I will leave it below your comment (as opposed to going to your own blog, which I cannot always do).

Sorry for the rules, but after years of blogging I find them helpful. However, I am very grateful for all my lovely visitors!

May God richly bless you,
Bess
