My Lord and My God

See more on this photo here.

Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."  John 20:24-29

A little late with this, but wanted to post it nonetheless.

May many blessings be yours throughout the week,
(Comments not on yet; my workload isn't conducive to them at present!)

Break Time!

Hello Dearest Readers!

I'm going to take a break from posting to immerse myself in the hope that is Spring! I plan to do some spring cleaning, catch up on loads of reading (books and magazines), do a little outdoor work (weather/time permitting), play my poor neglected piano, journal (the haphazard way I journal) and continue to work on my unfinished projects.

I'll be back when that urge strikes telling me I must blog again! But for the sake of an estimate, I'll say that will probably be shortly after Easter. (I'm disabling comments for now so that none of us feels any obligation to write or read them!)  :O)

In the meantime, enjoy every minute of the gift that is your life!

Consider the lilies of the field.
Look at the fuzz on a baby's ear.
Read in the backyard with the sun on your face.
Learn to be happy.
