Christmas Bears' Bedtime

The Christmas Bears are getting ready to read a bedtime story. They are all comfy against a couple of throw pillows and each other.

I made the french knot pillow many years ago.

My grandmother embroidered this one in the early 1970s.

What are they reading?

Who's listening to the story, too?

Ah, it's Kallie:

Grandma also made this afghan.  The pattern is
called "Sea of Tranquility," and she made
several afghans in this pattern.  Someday I hope to make one.

All done.  Now it's time to say prayers and sing a little song or two.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Reginald Heber 1826

Good Night Bears, and don't forget to wake up singing!
Bess

PS:  The Christmas Bears are happy to learn they are the stars
        of my 100th post!
