I was tickled that the new hard drive seemed to get here in record time, and a family member has spent much of the day downloading software. (Thank you!)
Of course, everything I had on the old hard drive is gone, except that I have my memory cards and flash drives, so I can still access the bare bones. I have begun the process of deciding what I want on my computer. Rather than a loss, I will consider it a chance to start over!
I had forgotten, though, how long it takes to upload a photo, etc., and I do hope I can figure out Picasa again! Ah well, it's good for my brain to have to think.
I had a lovely visit with family, and the time passed far too quickly. Prior to their visit, I spent my evenings and weekends washing and cleaning much that they wouldn't even see! But that, too, was enjoyable.
My thanks to all who stop by and to all who light here via a Google search. Of course, I don't know who they are, but I find what people are searching for very interesting. Some want help with banishing negative thinking, but my two biggest search items are Hyacinth Bucket and Red Wing Pottery. Book reviews are also popular. Do all of you bloggers like to check your Search Keywords under Traffic Sources under Stats? It's fascinating, and I like to say a prayer for whoever has come here via a particular search ... as well as prayers for all my readers. (For what it's worth, and I heartily believe every sincere and godly prayer has worth!)
... serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command:
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:13, 14 (TNIV)
To get back in the swing of things, I'm linking to Beverly's Pink Saturday with my little Mandevilla flower!
Still singing my way through life one day at a time,
Bess (if you don't know what I mean by that, see here)
